 FAQs

  • Approximately one week after you register on our website, we will reach out to you to provide a detailed explanation and address any questions you may have. Following this, you will need to verify your identity by submitting a copy of an identification document, such as a passport or driver's license. Additionally, you will share information about your experience with us so that we can match you with suitable painting projects.

  • Once a client submits a request, we contact them to discuss the painting and decorating details and provide an accurate price estimate based on the information received. We then assign the job to the most suitable painter in the area.

    If we call you, it means you are the best fit for the job! During the call, we'll share all the project details, including the price and start date. Once you accept, the job is yours. You'll then travel to the client with our one-page order form (provided before your first job). You and the client will confirm the price and sign the form. This form also includes a handover record to be signed upon job completion, ensuring client satisfaction.

    After you email us a photo of the signed record, we'll issue a payment request on your behalf and share it with the client. Christies Painters will handle the payment process, with the client transferring the funds to our account via wire transfer or online card payment.

  • You get paid to the bank account you provided to us. The payment will be made the preceding week on Fridays following the start of the painting project. It will include the cost of materials if applicable.

  • You don’t pay any fixed or monthly fees! Signing up is free. Unlike the other websites, we do not charge a subscription fee for providing you with the painting leads/jobs, but we charge a 20% fee excl. VAT for the painting projects.

  • Jobs you receive already have price estimates created using our online calculator using the info the client provided. If you arrive at a job but it doesn’t match the description, you can adjust your price accordingly. However, you need to do this before you start the job, and the client needs to sign to approve the new pricing.

  • This varies from job to job, depending on the customer's preference.

  • Absolutely not. If we contact you about a specific job, the decision to accept it is entirely yours. There is no penalty for declining a job. Unlike other platforms, you are not competing with other painters. You can provide us with your availability, and we will tailor job offers to fit your schedule.
